Additional Exterior Photos

View from the front. The property is exactly 1.87 acres of pure shangri-la :-) !

sidenote: Seriously, will you please look at those weeds in the grass? Oh boy. This was our first "end of summer" when we moved in, obviously the SMART thing to do is to go through an entire year of all four seasons (if you're in a location that experiences them) before doing any sort of landscaping. I already know I have no summer blooming flowers - I can't wait to get my gloves on this year and do some work outside - this house needs some COLOR during mid-summer. I haven't been living here for spring yet so that will be an interesting outdoor adventure.

You've seen the front (if not, check out the sidebar). Here is a quick tour of the rest of the house.

<--- That would be the pool located in the back yard. It's so cold here right now, I can't even imagine what summer feels like. Seriously. I'm not kidding, it's like a freakin' frozen tundra out there.

Part of my yard when we first moved in. Which has changed to..

My daughter is very happy.

Introduction

My DH & I purchased this amazing 1856 Farmhouse in the New York Tri-State area and we will be doing a TON of work on it.

I want a space to chronologically record the changes we are making.

I thought it would be a great way sharing the experience and possibly helping other home remodelers with similar tasks - and maybe get a few questions answered myself! I don't claim to be any expert in any particular field. Just a chick tryin' to make her way in the world.

This will be in reference to the house, decorating, home improvement, etc. I welcome all ideas in reference to any of these topics - toss in some of your own if you like!

I will be back to post photos of the 1856 Farmhouse we purchased!

Ta Ta for now!
